Next steps
HWNZ is working on a demonstration to develop competencies and training for endoscopy nursing along with developing a career pathway which could include the nurse endsocopist role in the future. We are also working closely with the Ministry bowel screening team on plans to standardise the training of endoscopy in NZ as a very important next step in improving and future proofing endoscopy services.
