Māori Health Careers

Aotearoa needs more Māori working in health to meet the needs of our growing Māori population.

Many Māori prefer to be seen by a Māori health worker both in the community and in the hospital.  If we want to improve the health of Māori then we need Māori to choose careers in the health sector.

Seven out of the 20 fastest growing occupations in Aoteaoa are in health so there's definitely a place for you. Choosing health as a career will set you on a journey for life!
