Māori Health

Aotearoa needs more Māori working in health to meet the needs of our growing Māori population.

Many Māori prefer to be seen by a Māori health worker both in the community and in the hospital.  If we want to improve the health of Māori then we need Māori to choose careers in the health. 

A good career planning process will help you achieve your objectives. To plan your career in Māori health:

Depending on the point in your career, you may not need to spend much time on some of these steps. Or, you might want to review your future options and develop a more comprehensive career plan.
